Above All A Roof

Thank you so much to all of our participants for joining us on Wednesday September 17th at 101 Brunswick Street for our stained glass workshop, and a huge thank you to our instructor, Terri Sparling.

Terri Sparling and her group, the Avondale Glass Artisans, are using their craft to help expand housing opportunities – and we’re honored to share their fundraiser that’s already under way:

From Terri:

“These are just some of our whimsical “Above All A Roof” houses created in support of the work of United Housing. The goal is for every house to be unique, just as each person’s need for housing is an individualized response to their specific needs. This glasswork is one of many creations by the “Avondale Glass Artisans”, a group from Avondale United Church, Stratford. Formed in 2016, the sale of glasswork supports Avondale’s ministries in the community and the wider world.  Houses from Series 100 are $30 each with all proceeds in support of United Housing. Houses can be purchased from Avondale United Church and the United Housing Office. Special orders will also be available. And, the beautiful watercolour paintings created by Lauren Francis will also be available for sale later this year.”
