Media Release: February 15, 2012

February 15, 2012

On Valentine’s Day 2012, PAL Stratford completed the details necessary to purchase what will become a PAL Residence in Stratford. PAL Place is located at 101 Brunswick Street, right in the heart of Stratford.

PAL Stratford is dedicated to assisting its members in areas of health, well-being and affordable accommodation.

PAL is a voluntary charitable organization and is one of six chapters of PAL Canada. PAL Stratford’s unique voluntary service, Supporting Cast, is available to assist senior members of the professional and performing arts community in this area.

The Board of Directors of PAL Stratford has been searching for a residence for over 10 years. Through surveys and research, specific criteria were established: the residence should be an existing structure that can be converted into affordable units, and centrally located in downtown Stratford.

The Board is delighted that their efforts have led them to 101 Brunswick Street a former Bed and Breakfast (The Deacon House) in a desirable neighbourhood that is ideal for the needs of its residents.
